Wine tours and relaxation in one place – Maison Bátori Tarczal
Maison Bátori is located in Tarcal, one of the historic and prestigious settlements of the Tokaj wine region. The village lies at the meeting point of the Zemplén Mountains and the Great Hungarian Plain, surrounded by high-quality vineyards on the loess-covered western slopes of the volcanic Kopasz Mountain, with rich historical traditions.
Wine and history—these two key concepts guided our work when we began renovating the Bátori house. The neglected property on the main street is under local heritage protection. In line with this, we designed our guest rooms by preserving the original building structure and traditional architectural features, while creating comfortable and refined spaces that meet modern standards.
We warmly welcome all discerning guests, whether wine lovers or those seeking an active relax. We hope that through the atmosphere of our guesthouse, we can also convey the unique spirit of Tarcal that is so dear to us.
